Dr. Simmons graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry followed by a doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. Subsequent to graduation from dental school, Dr. Simmons entered a General Practice Residency at the Wilmington Medical Center (Wilmington, Delaware) followed by an Anesthesia Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He worked in a group practice when first coming to Syracuse and opened his office in Liverpool in 1990. Dr. Simmons is a member of the American Dental Association and the Fifth District and Onondaga County Dental Societies.
